The Lost Trail is an exciting, realistic print & play detective game. Take on the role of an investigator solving the case of a mysterious kidnapping of a Polish student abroad. Inspired by the bestselling Unsolved Case Files, the game offers about 2 hours of intense gameplay for 1 to 4 people. Immerse yourself in authentically stylized materials: read a police report, analyze the notes of a private detective, confront contradictory witness statements and examine numerous pieces of evidence - from text messages and chats, through surveillance photos, to encrypted notes. The plot is set in modern times and touches on current issues (social pressure, trust in the age of technology, personal safety). Can you separate the truth from false leads and point out the culprit?

The game contains over 20 pages of documents to print out, including a realistic police report with official terminology, personal notes from a detective from Poland, detailed interview protocols (each witness has a unique voice!), suspect cards with motives and alibis, a map of locations, and a variety of physical and digital evidence (text message, e-mail, chat printouts, CCTV footage, coded messages to crack yourself). All this creates a coherent crime story with a surprising ending.
